Architectural Showcase Goes Live!
19 November 2009
A new website developed by our web team for Place Architecture, a highly respected practice in Lincoln, has now gone live.
Deceptively simple and showcasing nearly 100 different projects across four sectors, the new website invites users to explore the architectural projects and instantly view more images and video clips. There is also background information on the practice, their services and principles.
The site is built around a dynamic (CMS) content management system, which is intended to give as much control to the client as possible. The CMS allows pages to be created anywhere in the site structure, dragged and dropped within other sections and set to be published on a particular date/time, so that press releases can be timed.
Projects can be created or modified easily, sorted into the right section, images and videos uploaded and featured on the home page if required, all within the CMS. This makes it much easier for the client to take control of their website and constantly keep it relevant, encouraging return visits.
Within the CMS multiple users can be created to allow different departments to update their own sections, e.g. Project Management, Environmental Analysis, Landscaping.
The website can be viewed at: www.place-architecture.co.uk
