Newark & Sherwood Visitor Distractions!
22 January 2009
Design by Distraction has been working with Newark and Sherwood District Council to produce a series of tourism guides that highlight the best places to stay, eat and visit in Newark and Sherwood.
40,000 free guides have been produced and are being distributed locally, regionally and nationally through the Tourist Information Centre network. To See and Do provides an events listing and directory of the main villages and hamlets, with details of amenities and upcoming events. To Stay lists accommodation providers that are quality assessed by Visit Britain or the AA, while To Eat lists restaurants, cafes, coffee shops, tearooms, pubs, farm shops and farmers' markets.
Design by Distraction have also created online and CD-ROM versions of the guides. These allow you to browse through a virtual on-screen copy of each guide, print or save copies to your computer, and quickly jump to related websites or email organisations listed in the guides.
For a copy of any of the guides please visit your local Tourist Information Centre. To view the electronic version of each guide, click here.
